    vintage vacuum books?

    I'm assuming from the Vac-of-the-Day that someone here has an extensive collection of old dept store catalogs? It's very possible that, just for example, Sears would allow someone to reprint all of the old vacuum cleaner pages into one book (or a series of books).

    ...any way to get that "wet dog" smell out of a vacuum?

    My dad has three dogs and four cats, and I made the mistake of trying out one of my new toys (an older German "Vorwerk") on his carpets and upholstery to see how well it would work in a really bad situation. Now it has an awful stench when I use it... changing the bag hasn't helped at all...
