    Henry went crack/pop

Hello all I was vacuuming today with my Autosave Henry (he's about 6 years old). I had it on normal (low) power pulled the hose to move him along & there was a loud sort of crack/pop noise. He still carried on running ok. I swiched it off & had a look but couldn't see or smell anything...

    Henry is 35

Has anyone else seen the Numatic Holland site http://www.numatic.nl/homecare/ The limited edition 35th anniversary Henry is uber cool. I wonder why Numatic UK aren't making more of his 35th birthday ??

    Numatic Jack

Hello, A belated Merry Christmas to you all ! I just wanted to share details of my latest Numatic. I managed to bag a Numatic "Jack" from Tesco. My other half spotted him on hot deals UK at £39.00 & that coupled with some Tesco club card double up points we had, meant we got £10.00 further off...

    Numatic John

Hello I just thought I'd share my experience of the new Numatic John sold via John Lewis as part of their 150 year celebrations, fitted with the new lower watt eco-type motor. I got this recently (I'd originally got the purple Lewis model but a faulty front castor meant I returned him)...

    Vacuum for my mother-suggestions

Hello I saw my mother last night who is considering getting another vacuum. My mum currently has a Miele cylinder which is fine but she would prefer an upright as being 73 & none too good on her legs an upright gives her something to hang onto, whereas a cylinder & hose can be a bit of trip...

    3D face Henry's

Hi all I took a look at one of the new 3D faced Henry's today (there was one on display in Tesco). I have to say, I couldn't really see that much difference (I nearly didn't notice there was a difference). It's ok & on the Henry the clip on face fitted well but on a Hetty that was next to it...

    Numatic help

Hello Can anyone offer any help? I have a Numatic vacuum with the wide stability base that lives in my garage- we call him Colin if that helps :-) He dates I think from around 2002 & has the vertical red press down type switch. I bought him second hand a couple of years ago & he's worked ok (bit...

    New Henry's

Hello Has anyone got or seen one of the new Henry's yet with the pipe/floor tool storage feature & new "mask" type face? I haven't been able to see one in any stores yet as all display models are the old type, so wondered how they look & work in the "flesh". Many thanks & Merry Christmas to...

    Numatic George opinions

Hello Now that with your help i've decided a Henry Hound isn't to be my next Numatic purchase. I (& my other half Sophie) have decided that if we are to get another vacuum one that also cleans carpets would be a good idea. I'm currently looking at the Numatic George. I realise this is also a...

    Henry Hound experiences.

Hello I'm thinking of picking up a second hand Numatic Henry-Hound. Has anyone any experience of this model (good & bad) & in particular its plastic tubes? Is it worth me bothering with over my standard Henry? Cheers Dave

    NV200 Numatic help

Hello all. I just bought an old Numatic Nv200 to go with my other Henry type machines. It doesn't have a cable re-wind, instead I believe on these the cable/ power cord is hung on a clip on the back when not in use, however on my machine the clip/ hook is missing. Does anyone know how these...

    Newbie

Hello to all ! I've just joined the forum after lurking for a while & looking at the pic's & threads. I don't claim to be any sort of expert on vacuums but my interest (& very modest collection) is certainly growing, so I figure i'm in the right place here. Dave
