    Kirby sanitronic question

Is this a non-factory rebuild? Sanitronics are not my forte, but I've only seen sanitronics in green. The belt lifter is off of a 560.

    Another 508

I couldn't pass this one up, I'm amazed that it's all original! The only thing I could see was the plug was changed. It's got a metal roll brush too.

    Rainbow for sale

Hello friends, I have a Rainbow that needs to go, not sure of the model number. It works, with the exception of the female connector that the power nozzle plugs into the side of the main unit needs to be replaced. Power nozzle is in good condition as well as the main unit. Not sure what to ask...

    New Toy!

To find old cleaners I will always strive, and in most cases I don't even mind the drive. I couldn't say no to Letgo so... $15 later, I ended up with a Kirby 505!

    Serendipitous Thrift Store Find

I wasn't going to stop, but I said eh why not? Came across this Electro Hygiene model 966. Has most of its original attachments, and even the instruction manual.

    New Toy

I couldn't help it. I just had to have it. It came with a bunch of gadgets and do-dads too! Surprisingly enough, the hose is soft and supple with NO air leaks! I couldn't believe it. Couple of strange things though. This has 2 smaller rear metal wheels, and what seems to be a painted emptor...

    Kirby 505

Picked this up today for mother. I haven't had a Kirby in a long time. I know Kirby's aren't generally the quietest of cleaners, but I'm sure I'm going to need new bearings. I haven't worked on a Kirby and forever, are bearings for these 505s hard to find these days?

    Thrift store find!

Picked up this Universal Jet 99 tank up. Was $19.99, got it for $10. Just the unit only, nothing else. I tested it out with an Electrolux cord and it runs pretty good.

    Westinghouse

Me oh my, what a scandal, check it out, a Westinghouse WITHOUT A HANDLE! What would help is a special tip, because this poor vac needs a better grip.

Loose handle on Dial A Matic

Picked this Hoover model 1140 Dial A Matic up at a thrift store. Runs pretty good, I just can't figure out how to tighten the handle. There's a screw located in the back that says to "tighten screw firmly" but this does nothing. Any input guys? Sincerely, "Loose and Confused"

    Kirby Question...

I came across a Kirby 514 or 513 at a thrift store. I noticed it had an aluminum brush roll on it. I don't remember ever seeing this on a Kirby. Is this a replacement part, or "made to fit" part?

Wanted, Royal shake out bag slide and chain

Would anyone happen to have a shake out bag slide and chain for a Royal? I'm going to have to buy a new shake out bag for my Electro Hygiene and the slides are going for $24.00. Thanks Anthony

    Royal upright model 285

Hello all! I picked up a Royal today. The model number is 285, could anyone tell me what year this dates to? Also, what would the original rug plate look like on this? The one that is on it doesn't cover the nozzle completely. And from the pictures I've seen, the rug plates are rounded at the...

    Hamilton Beach No. 8

So, doing a little poking around on past posts, I've come to find that a Hamilton Beach No. 14 either dates to the early 40's, or late 40's. How about a Hamilton Beach No. 8? This seems earlier no doubt, but HOW early is the question? I Found it interesting that the nozzle on this seems wider...

    Here goes...

Well here is the bulk of my collection. I plan to tinker with these, mainly polish them, as they all work just fine. I do need to locate a bag brace for the Hoover 750 second from the end.
