    Corningware Percolator Cord

Did all Corning percolators require a unique size cord? My mom used one when I was a kid which she received for a wedding gift in 1965. The cord on that one seemed pretty standard like other brand percolators, corn poppers, etc. My grandmother had one from the mid-1970's (Spice O'Life)--solid...

Anyone interested in a hose to fit Airway 77?

I'm clearing some items out of the basement and came across a made to fit hose for an Airway vacuum. I remember the model 77 sitting in the corner of the garage and I think this hose was used on it. Genuine Airway machine end connected to a "fit-all" vinyl hose with an Eureka tool/wand end...

    Electrolux LE Switch Replacement--Difficult?

I have an Electrolux LE (Marquise era) and the switch is broken. It has been abandoned for years in a basement as it wouldn't turn off and I finally took it apart and discovered the switch cover which you push is fine, but there is some type of lever or rocker that has broken. Can I order...

Electrolux PN-1 Power Nozzle 3 Row Brush

I just opened a 1205 era PN-1 and discovered that it had a 3 row brush roll. Was this typical or perhaps a replacement? I thought the PN-1 brush rolls were two row. The power nozzle itself had seen better days... the top housing was really banged up and the plastic on the upper wand housing...

    Riccar Self-Propelled Upright??

I recently saw a posting on FB Marketplace for a Self-Propelled vacuum--A Riccar 8900 which don't think is correct. Did Riccar make a self-propelled vacuum?

Did GE sell a Hand/Stand Mixer in the 1950's?

Here's a memory that brings a question to mind every now and then. I've seen pictures of Sunbeam, Dormeyer and Hamilton Beach versions of their hand mixers on stands in the 1950/1960's but did GE ever sell such a model? I have this memory of being at the home of a lady from our church when I...

    Central Vacuum Hose Issue

We have an MD Central Vacuum direct connect hose that will only turn on the power nozzle but not the suction (main vacuum unit) when toggled to the number two position that is supposed to run both. When toggled to the number one position (vacuum only) it works just fine. Is this likely a...

    Aerus Manufacturing Locations

Just curious, does Aerus manufacture any of the machines it sells or has it outsourced all of those operations? I recall years ago reading that one of the Eureka plants was assembling Aerus (Electrolux) vacuum cleaners but am not sure what the company is doing now. I see one of the current...

    Teal Electrolux hoses

I acquired a vacuum lot at an estate sale that included two teal hoses with genuine Electrolux handle ends. The one with the white ribbon pattern through the blue was familiar to me. I was surprised by the other one with a pattern very similar to the Olympia, Silverado, and Diamond Jubilee...

Hoover Type G Short Bags Quik-Boom

9 Type G bags to fit Hoover Quik-Boom or Pixie models. Short Bag. Found these when cleaning out a closet at my parents home. Used the blue Quik-Broom quite often as it was the easiest to get around the two twin beds in the room I shared with my brother. Two brand-new packs of genuine Hoover...

Aerus Lux Classic Cord...Is this a problem?

The insulation on this Aerus Lux Classic appears to have shrunk or shriveled up a bit. This affects about the last three feet of cord coming out of the winder. I can't imagine this is normal. Does it indicate a bigger problem? The machine functions fine otherwise.

Mystery Part maybe for a Kirby?

I found this part in a box of Electrolux attachments. Any idea what it is? It measures about 10" wide and looks like a brush roll cover of some sort. I think it might belong to a Kirby Heritage II as the color scheme seems correct and there was also a Kirby floor tool in the box. A bit of a...

    Rainbow Floor Brush Bumper Issue

Any suggestions on repairing the Rainbow floor brush so the bumper does not keep coming off? We primarily have bare floors on the first floor so the brush is used frequently. Thanks for your help.

    Eureka Express Power Nozzle help

Could someone give me the model number for this power nozzle? I think it needs a new motor and I can't find the model number on the unit. It's making a screeching noise, runs sluggish, and the lower wand actually gets warm when used. I suppose the best question might be is it even worth...

Looking for an early Electrolux swivel connector without the spring tab release. I believe these were used on the models E & T. Thanks

    Electrolux Centralux Burned Out Motor??

I think the motor burned out in our Centralux central vacuum. This afternoon, I was vacuuming in the room which shares a wall with the garage where the vacuum unit is located. I heard a grinding noise, then a whine, and after that the vacuum shut off. I couldn't get it to turn on again. I...

    POD 10/05/2014

The Electrolux power nozzle in the sales flyer looks to be an early PN-1 for the models G & R. Are the improvements highlighted making a comparison to the power nozzle for the model AF? I always thought they were the same except for color.

    Rainbow e-series wands question

Are the wands on the new Rainbow models round 1.25" diameter or more of a D-shaped style like the Eureka/Electrolux Oxygen models? I couldn't really make a determination from the website.

Need to clear out excess...anyone want this stuff

Have to clear out some excess and thought someone might be able to use the following items for parts. Just pay shipping and I'll find the cheapest method possible. Blue Electrolux model E with Hammertone blue machine hose end and wand hose end --no hose or attachments. Doesn't run, body has...

Epic Oops with Vintage Electrolux Shag Nozzle....Help

Help....our vintage Electrolux Shag tool slipped over the button lock on our central vacuum wand. Any thoughts or recommendations on how to get it off without damaging the nozzle or wand? I'd really like to save both. Yes, I still use the old shag tool on a shag area rug. Folks who visit...
