    Vacuum Cleaner Industry

Do you people notice that Vacuum stores are closing up everywhere. The Market is just not there. With the opening of the big box stores in the last 20 years has put a damper on business and of course buying online. About the only thing that keeps most shops going is service calls on built-ins...

This machine is cleaned top to bottom. Gone thru the motor has the original twin fan Aluminum impellers. Needs new belt and cord protector coming from the handle. Cost maybe $9.00 total. The hood cover is not perfect but still looks good. The vacuum is not beat up a few scrapes, nicks and marks.

    Wally World

I noticed WalMart in Canada is now advertising Lux Vacuums. Only certain models. Now that I have seen this it strenghtens my belief that the Vacuum industry as a whole is in the Dumps so to speak. The mom&pop shops are a thing of the past...:(

    Flush Mount Vacuum

Seriously what do you guys think of this Vacuum, it's flush mount and built in the USA. I think it's a great little unit, no need to put it back into the closet. The best alternative to the conventional Central Vacuum, that needs all the plumbing. http://www.intervacdesign.com/

    Filters

Seems to be a big misconception about filters out thar.. Most older machines came with the standard gray foam filter. When you want to change that dirty intake filter next time go to the Vac shop and buy the cut to fit filter. Much.........much better as this is micro filtration. And if the bag...

    Collecting Vacumms..?

You know something after working in Vac shops fixing, repairing , selling and all that good stuff. I have lost total interest in these appliances in a monetary sense. The industry has changed for the worst. Consumers are buying more and more from big box stores. Society has become throw away. So...

    High Tech World..?

Tell me what's wrong with this Piture of these people here holding their phones in space. I see it as the new Dissociated, Detached Society of the new millenium. 1) Would they actually be able to live on a Deserted island if they had to.? 2) Could they repair a Vacuum.? or would they ever learn...

    Bagless Technology

The Dyson seems to be a big hit for some folks. What happened to the good old Filter Queen. I cannot see why they have yet to come up with a revised filter queen sort of idea for a vacuum. It would probably go over really well, think about some ideas you can come up with to improve on the old...
