What vacuums have you received from people?

I was recently at a get together with my family and some friends. A lady who is a close friend of my mom said here dad recently passed away. She also said he kept everything if it was broken. She said that she would clean out his house and I could have any older vacuums she finds. This has...

    Premier handheld vacuum bearings

Hello! I would like to thank Tom Gasko for selling me his premier hand vacuum for a very fair price. I started to rebuild the motor and its going great! I only have one problem. I attempted to service the bearings but it didn't go great. The bottom one was easy to service, but the top one keeps...

Tip on how I restore brushrolls

Hello! This might sound stupid but I thought I'd share how I clean or "restore" brushrolls. I do what anyone else does. Cut the hair off, lube the bearings, wipe it down, but I recently discovered a cool trick. When too much hair or thread gets wrapped around the brush it bends the bristles...

Premier Spic and Span Hand vac

Well, I made another impulse buy. This hand vac has been on EBay for awhile. It’s in terrible condition and it’s missIng the bag and handle. I’m hoping to restore it, and the seller does claim it runs. As long as the bearings aren’t completely shot I think I’ll be able to fix it. I also plan to...

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had this specific Oreck outer bag. There are a few in stock on ezvacuums.com, but I’m not willing to spend $70 on a random vacuum bag. I would really appreciate it if anyone could find one. Thanks -Jack

    Great week of finds!

This week had some amazing finds! First I found a thrashed oreck in the trash, other than a new motor it will turn out fine. Then I found a near perfect elite! No issues whatsoever! They also included a huge bag of parts, At least $30 worth! Half of the parts don’t even go to the elite. They...

Whats the dirtiest vacuums you've seen?

I was wondering what were some of the dirtiest vacuums you've seen. Some of mine were a sanitronic 50 that was completely thrashed, it was moldy had water in it and a slug. Next would be a shark navigator that was so packed with dirt it smeared dust on a rug and overheated.

    Display vacuums

I’ve heard people talk about display vacuums at stores being real vacuums, but the only display vacuums I see at stores (besides Costco) are fake. They always have fake plugs, and other fake parts.
