My Hoover Elite model U5093-940 fan blew up when vacuuming. It is now in several pieces. The part number is 38755-007 aka 43565006. Motor appears intact and continued working after the fan broke. Casing is cracked.
I had the same thing happen on my other Hoover 4261-930 about 10 years ago...
