    Riccar R27

Has anyone else heard about the new Riccar R27 yet. Apparently the R25 is going away. The R27 will basically the same machine, but in a different color and only two models. Production will be shifted from China to Vietnam. I actually talked to a Tacony rep on Saturday in a local vac store.

    Riccar Spirit

My source is two local vacuum stores. One isn't as heavy in to Riccar; he mainly sells Sebo and Miele, but the other one is pretty top heavy in Riccar, but is having to stock up on Sebo. TAD model Primas, and standard power head nozzle machines aren't available. Only straight suction models are...

    Interesting find...

Hello all! I just came across an interesting web site if you are interested in seeing who manufactures such machines as the new Airway/Simplicity Spirit, Cirrus, Veridian, and Vapomore canisters as well as the Oreck Quest Pro and Prolux Terra Vac as well as a lot of really neat designs...

    Veridian canister

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this vacuum. It is the same machine as the Cirrus C-VC439. This thing is definitely a Hoover Wind tunnel/Royal Lexon off shoot. It has a crappy Five foot hose(which I replaced with a Hoover wind tunnel hose.) It's a very...

    Bissell Digi Pro

Hello all! I am looking to find a Bissell Digi Pro wand and power nozzle. I thought the ones from my Samsung Quiet Storm would work but they won't fit. I hope someone can hook me up!

    Riccar 1800/Immaculate

I was wondering if anyone here has seen or performed airflow tests on the Riccar 1800 series machines. I have searched on line and haven't come across anything. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this. Thanks

    Riccar spirit

Sorry Blackheart I don't have a pic to share. I don't know why that link showed up. I must have made a mistake somewhere when I was posting. You are correct. It is the same as the Borelli! I have a feeling most Riccar dealers at least have the pic. That's where I got it from via a text.

    Riccar Spirit

Has anyone seen the new Riccar Spirit? I had heard that it was coming several months ago. Finally saw a pic of one today. Pretty much the same machine as the new Powr-Flite;but red in color. Hope they made the dual motor system so that you can turn it off and on. Riccar Spirit

    Panasonic built Miele

Hello all, I have recently acquired two Miele uprights; an S-176i and an S-184. Both were built in Spain; and have the 10 amp motor. I was wondering if this is a two-stage motor or not. Both seem rather weak(only pulling 40" of water). I have seen some machines that have rather weak suction...

    Panasonic Platinum plus upright question

Hello all, I have two Panasonic platinum uprights. They're almost identical in the platinum silver color. One has the brush roll shut off and one does not. The headlight lenses are different. One is sort of an oval wrap around type and the other has a more rectangular shape like the newer...

    Panasonic Jet-Flo MC-6255 upgrade?

Hello all! I just picked a Panasonic Jet-Flo MC-6255 at a local thrift store. The machine is in excellent condition with the 8Amp motor. Not being a vac mechanic myself, I was wondering if any one has ever tried to put a more powerful motor in one of these; maybe one from the Kenmore...

    New Powr-Flyte

I had the chance to try out the new Powr-Flyte Borelli. yesterday. It seems to be a very nice and solid machine, and really aggressive on carpet. I am curious as to why they built a dual motor upright with no way to turn the brush roll on and off. I have a feeling we're going to see a new Riccar...

    RE:44572 Hoover Innovation bags

I have a near mint Hoover Innovation with attachments. I have been using the Hoover hepa Y bags in it. They seem to work very well! I picked my machine up from a local vacuum store. The ownner left it for repair and never picked it up. I got it for the price of the repair($25.00).

    Sanitaire EON

Hello everyone! I have a Sanitaire EON (SC-5500A) . I was looking at the Sanitaire website which claims that the new model(SC-5500B) has double the debris pick up on hard surfaces over the previous models. Has any one seen the newer model, and if so, does it have a rubber sealing strip or row...

    Miele Art

I was wondering if anyone has done an air flow test on a Miele Art. I had mine out today, and it occurred to me that because of its design it might be pretty strong at the nozzle. One couldn't do a very good test with the hose out since the suction continues through the hose and nozzle...

    Tri-star brushless motor?

Hi everyone! I had my friend that has the vac store here crack open my Aire-Jett. The motor is not brushless. It looks like it is at first sight, but upon closer inspection based on the advice I saw on here on the location of the commutator and carbon brushes(kudos Kirbylux77) we were able to...

    Tri-star brushless motor?

RE: Vacomaticiec I have been a Compact/Tristar fan most of my life. I grew up with a Compact C-2 which my mom used to pull me around on. I sold Tri-Stars in the early 1990'S for a while. I currently have a Revelation C-2 with the hassock, as well as a 2 stage EXL and the Aire-Jett. I've had...

    Tri-star brushless motor?

In response to Lesinutah: I failed to mention in my earlier post that I had spoken to a representative at Tristar USA a couple of years back. She said that all machines built after 2020 did have brushless motors. I will continue to investigate and get a second inspection/opinion from a second...
