Hey all I was home in Mo for a couple of days for Thanksgiving. My dad had asked me to stop by the ReStore to pick up a trash compactor he'd been eyeing. I couldn't believe me eyes when I saw this. Id known about this brand but never saw one here in the area. For $15 I couldn't pass it up!

I found this in an antique store yesterday. I'd looked around, but there were no vacuums. Usually if that's the case I just walk, but I asked the owner if she ever ran across old vacs. She said "Oh, I've got one in the basement, I'll bring it up". Moral of the story is always ask!!

I meant to post this here on Sunday, but time just got away from me. I haven't been adding any more machines to my collection until finances improve, but for $7.20 I couldn't pass this up.

I'm housesitting for a friend right now. The house was built in the 70's and still has the Nutone. No powerhead, but it did come with the shag rug tool!

Here's another brochure for the Sturtevant system. Like the Spencer, it operated on the multi-stage turbine principle, and was probably the most similar to the Spencer during the time period. This dates from 1925.

The owners picked up hot coals from the fireplace with it, then threw it outside into the snow after it caught fire. After all this though, it runs PERFECTLY. The damage was just cosmetic.

A lady just came in with this Concept. She said it made a horrible noise, and she was ready for a new vacuum. I expected it to be a broken fan.
