    For HOOVER Lovers.....

Compliments of Mr Winkler! Can't say much about her vacuuming skills, however. Quoting, "To tell the truth, I could have done better." Enjoy! RB[this post was last edited: 8/31/2012-00:22]

    Such a deal....

And it includes FREE SHIPPING. Run, don't walk!! Far be it for me to judge, but this strikes me as a TAD expensive. RB http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Genuine-Antique-Rare-Electrolux-Vacuum-Upholstery-Tool-Dust-Brush-Combo-/300651262654?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item46003632be

My Favorite line in a Vacuum Listing:

"See pictures of the vacuum blower - too hard to get a picture of the suction." (This was literally taken from an older Lux listing) And I was SO wanting to see that picture!!!! Rick B

    From the 1940's

OK, at first, you will wonder why this is in the Vintage Vacuum section. That question will be (briefly) answered most of the way into this presentation. In either case, it is also the best representation of the 40's I have seen. (Go Hoover!) Rick B http://www.objflicks.com/decadeofthe1940s.html

    P.O.D. LUX ARRAY,

I really love this 'Line-up' of Electrolux evolution but wish they had taken a bit more time and made it more accurate. Still, it's lots of fun to see the metmorphosis or progression. RB

    REALLY Proud of this!

To quote my uncle, "Man, this guys is REALLY proud of (this) cordwinder! I do love the original Belden plug, however! RB http://cgi.ebay.com/Electrolux-Vintage-Vacuum-Cordwinder-Model-XXX-/310277336993?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item483df86fa1

Like taking candy from a baby....

So, during a discussion occasioned by my loaning an extra Lux 1205 to my neighbor's husband for remodeling work he was doing on his late father's house (just around the corner), his pleasant but rather foolish wife was bragging about her beloved Kirby and how much more suction(she believed) it...
  15. A

Gee...And I've always mistakenly referred to them as 'Coffee Cans'

I am guessing (apparently) the band has been repainted and the Green Logo surgically removed. Still, perhaps a nice original machine to restore. These were kind of a stand-alone model in so many ways.(paint, plug, 'dirt-finder + positive agitation' in an 'economy priced' full-sized cleaner!) Rick
