    Carpet Pro! (With pics)

A few of you may remember me posting a thread about my grandma buying a new vacuum. I want to thank you all for your input and opinions. In the end, she decided to go with a Carpet Pro, because it seemed most like her Panasonic. Its the model CPU-75T. The box...

    I need recommendations.

We should all know modern vacuums are not my area of expertise unless we're talking Kirby's, lol. But my grandmas Panasonic took a dump and isn't working anymore. She wants a new vacuum. These are her specifications: No canisters like Electrolux, Rainbow, etc., and can't be overly expensive, lik...

    Tradition safety switch issue-(pic heavy)

I went to run my beloved Trad today, only to find out it wouldn't turn on! I turned out the safety switch was cracked. I took it off and found this: None I the wires were connected in the first place! Only the green and yellow wire would return to their places if I replaced the cover.

What kind of belt can I use in my 825?

I'm really exited to finish up the resto on my Hoover 825, and it will probably be my new daily driver. However, I need a new belt for it- the one that was in it was all cracked and stetched. What kind of belt would be safe to use in it?

    The Sanitaire restore begins tomorrow...

    Early Kirby Protos

Alright, so I read in this book I have about vacuums that some of Jim Kirby's first vacuums were like Rainbow/Rexairs, they were filtered with water. Exept they were hand pumped. These are very interesting; does any body have one of these, have any info on these, or have any pics of...

    Using F&G Bags in Convertibles?

Hey, I know this is a stupid question, but since I have no Convertibles of my own, (in fact, the only fan-on-the-floor-bag-in-the-back vacuum is a Sanitaire, which is my current resto project)   The bag adapters look the sam to me- so has anybody tried this?

Okay so I was in town at JC Pennys and I wandered off(like I usually do lol) and found a Bionaire vacuum.     I thought Bionaire just made fans (We have one)   It looked like any other plastivac and it looked pretty generic. It looked real cheap but it had a pretty hefty price tag...
