I’ve noticed this for a while since I’ve acquired my Hoover Self Propelled Windtunnel. The base can be pushed up by hand. This causes the base to stick to carpet and I’m wondering if this issue can be fixed or if this is just wear and tear.
Found this at Habitat For Humanity and I couldn’t resist! I’ve been looking for these for a little while now. The motor needs some work done, but afterwards it’ll be my Shop Vac for giant jobs.
The motor shaft in my 500 went bad a while ago, so I needed a new motor. I finally got a good parts 103 machine at Goodwill. The cashier gave me a discount because it was missing the bag. I already have another complete and working 103 and the motor assembly in this is good.

I have a Shop Vac All Around QAL80A and I used a bag in it with the pleated filter. I'm not sure if this is the right configuration because I've seen an image of the same model using a bag without the pleated filter. Would using the bag without the pleated filter be the correct setup?

Today I acquired this Dirt Devil Reaction. It seems like a very interesting machine and I did see one before at a goodwill as a store Vacuum. Dw, I still have my eyes set on a Windtunnel Supreme.
It stunk like crazy whenever it ran and the Belt was bad. Also, the filter was Cracked and stunk as well. It was probably there for years, maybe when this Machine was first Made (February 2005).
I remember making a thread on my Savvy’s Mobo and someone mentioned Diodes. How that I have my own Soldering Iron, I could replace those diodes and see those Lights actually working for the first time! I could post pics of the Board for Reference.
