Think I passed up a bargain

I was in the Goodwill today and they had a Kirby Classic Omega for 15 bucks. Looked to be in reasonably decent--not pristine, certainly--shape. I'm not into Kirbys so I passed. I did pick up a vintage GE Toast-R-Oven with the hangtag still on the cord for six bucks. veg

Hope I'm posting this in the right place... Found this on craigslist. It's a Whirlpool Power Clean 2000. Any ideas when it was made? It looks pretty modern to be a "true" Whirlpool, but what do I know? veg

    Kenmoreck?

Found this baby in the 1970 Sears catalog. Looks like one of the early Orecks that Whirlpool (?) made. veg

I had every intention of bidding on it but when I saw it was up to 52 bucks, I had to think twice. I looked...

    Setting the record straight

I DO NOT collect vacuums. I really don't. Okay, so I popped in to my local Sally Ann today and this little pup called to me. But I don't collect vacuums. I think I'll play with it for a while then take it in to use at work. I was surprised to see a 1984 copyright on the instruction sheet...

    My first vintage vac!

Imagine my delight when I came home from work on Friday to find this by my front door. My mail-order groom? Noooo...
