    Fantom Thunder

    Finally added one of the vacuums of my childhood to my collection the Fantom Thunder. I’ve found some replacement Fantom belts, but are there any other belts that would work? I’ve looked around and haven’t found much. Seems like yesterday the Fantom infomercials were on all the time.

    Kirby Tradition Restoration

    Here is a Tradition I purchased from a fellow member on pieces and over the past year restored. I spent a lot of time buffing and polishing but well worth it. The motor was good but repacked the bearings and she works great. Hope y’all enjoy

    Kirby G4 Noise

    Just got a G4 and G6 and both are making an odd noise once the motor is shut off. It’s coming from the transmission area and is not the clicking sound. Luckily neither make that. Can’t tell if it bearing or not. Has anything else had any odd sounds? Almost sounds like bearings but is back...

    Kirby 518 Fan Removal

    I’ve been trying to get the fan off the 518 I’m restoring and the sucker is so rusted in there it isn’t budging . I sprayed it down with PB Bkaster for now. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Kirby 518 before Restoration

    I was given this 518 and it’s seen better days. I plan on restoring it to original look. Luckily it isn’t missing anything and the motor sounds good. I’ll post pics along the way. What is the correct bag replacement? Too bad you can’t find the original Kirby bags.
