Got this vacuum for $50 from a local vacuum shop. It's a Canadian-made Hoover model 618. It came with a complete set of attachments, hose, and a couple of bags, even a handisac which it does not take. I was super excited to add this to my collection. It runs and sounds great. I love these old...
Here is my Canadian built Hoover Model 619A that I picked up for $50 in a local vacuum shop. There are some minor holes in the top of the bag, and its missing the hose. It runs nice.
Picked this up at a yardsale for $50 CAD. Needs some work, new bag, new fan, new hose, but it had most of the tools, missing only the straight and curved extension wands. Included are the miracle head, the handi butler, and the rug renovator.
Finally got myself a Kirby Classic III. I've always loved the look of this model and when one was posted locally on Facebook Marketplace for a decent price I couldn't say no. It has the original bag too. All it needs is a polish and a new light bulb. I will need to buy the attachments for it, as...
Hello, I am hoping to find for a reasonable cost the original pinstripe bag for my Kirby Classic Omega, serial number N91... My current bag is an aftermarket one without the logo and I'd love to get my machine all original again.

So I'm new to the hobby and just acquired a classic omega. Does anyone have a handi-butler with tools available? I found one on ebay but they won't ship to Canada.

Hello everyone,

I would however like to find one that...
Hello Everyone, I'm hoping to be getting a model 616 soon, however I need some advice as this will be my first vintage vacuum. According to the person selling it there is a small hole near the bottom of the dust bag. Will this be a big issue and will I need to replace the bag? I do not have the...
