    Lux 1205 issues

Why does my 1205 have poor suction? I've replaced the hose & suction still the same even with a new bag. I hear that the mdl G keeps going strong even with a 1/2 full bag while the 1205 has almost no suction; is that true?

Reason to own a FQ pt 2

Filter Queen vacs are approved for allergy sufferers & asthma patients too. Too bad Mercado Libre (Mexican & South American version of eBay) doesn't have FQs on sale there. http://www.vacuumland.org/TD/THREADS/VINTAGE/6924.htm

    Reason to own a FQ

    1. 10x more powerful suction than a F-5 tornado 2. Better-than-HEPA/ULPA filtration 3. Hose/wand/tool connections don't leak like the other brands' vacs do 4. Removes pollutants from the air we breathe 5. No nasty odor from exhaust like the other vacs

I have a red 2-speed Tristar with all tools + a shampoo tank & a tube that goes from tank into Power Nozzle. Does anyone know how long these Tristar vacs were made? Its supposed to shampoo carpets like a Bissell Big Green Powerbrush or Kenmore Cleanmore w/Spraymate.

    Rug Doctor shampooer/polisher

Does anyone have info about these shampooer/polishers? I haven't seen these in ages ever since Vacuumland (my vac shop) closed; Vacuumland used to offer these as rental shampooers before I changed these for Electrolux shampooers...

    Sweet memories

when my parents bought me a Convertible just like the one the barber shop had when I was a yr old. I still have the vac & hope it lasts forever. I'd like 2 have a Hoover 700 or Air Way Chief or Dirt Master or the Vacuette (before S & F became Kirby)

    Commemorative Edition Lux

When were these vacs made & were they limited edition mdls or more delux than the Ultralux? http://www.vacuumland.org/TD/THREADS/SANDBOX/6573.htm?21

    Hoover Floor Washer

How can a Floor Washer scrub floor w/o a rotating brush? Does it have a "vibrating" brush like the Rug Doctor? I've never used or seen one (in real life but I've seen them on ads & this site) maybe more durable than the Floor Mate of today.

    FloorMAX vs. Floor Mate

Which is better? I like the FloorMAX for its scrubbing power & I like the Floor Mate (early style) for its low profile head; but I'm not sure if a Floor Mate is worth the $ or not.

    Bissell Big Green PB 1680

I need a wand & uphostery tool for a Bissell Big Green Powerbrush Series mdl# 1680, does anyone have them in good shape? I'm missing the uphost. nozzle; & the wand is broken. http://www.bissell.com/Products/p/big+green+powerbrush+deep+cleaner/product.aspx

    Hoover Suction Polisher

Has anyone seen these at dept stores here in the US? I think I saw a Suction Polisher in either a Fingerhut or Montgomery Ward catalog back in the 1980s but don't know if they were sold only at commercial vac shops (where they specialize on commercial machines) or specialty vac shops or Hoover...

    Regina Housekeeper

why do people bash this vac? I hear it was a good vac (except the filtration) & the Housekeeper was the 1st vac 2 have on-board tools. What problems did the vac create 4 Regina? My sis had this vac since 1986 & LOVES the Housekeeper today.

    XXX Ultra Power

Has anyone seen a XXX Ultra Power? It looks like a Regina Housekeeper & Lux 3500; uses the same style bag as a Lux upright & same tools as the Housekeeper. TWO motor system not one; vacuum & brush motors are 2-speed; vac is lite grey (trim) & cadet blue (body)
