    Sanitaire Blue Line Uprights Discontinued

A year or so has passed since Bissell's purchase of the Sanitaire Division of Electrolux and they have decided to make some changes. Blue "Professional" Line is all but out, with the S635, S645, and S677 uprights as well as the S3681 Mighty-Mite being discontinued. What dealers presently have...

Hoover Discontinuing the Venerable Self-Propelled Windtunnel

The dealer where I work part time says ESSCO(the general supplier) is out and won't have any more in as Hoover is giving it the axe. End of an era, if you ask me, one of the last pre-TTI cleaners they still offered, one of the few cleaners of good quality, too.

A few months ago I bought a Kirby Classic III on Craigslist, and have been slowly fixing it up with some new and used parts, some genuine, others, not so much... One of the parts that needed replacement was the original "filter felt" bag which leaked dust badly and covered the machine with a...

Advice Needed | Vacuum for Pottery Studio

My high school ceramics teacher is looking for a vacuum cleaner that won't blow the dust back into ther air, will be able to take the abuse of the clay dust, and will not clog up instantly either. Since I will be looking it can be new or vintage for that matter. Any ideas?

Does anyone have a picture of Keeler's self propelled converter?

I have scoured this site trying to find a picture of that kooky Keeler guy's Kirby or Bison self propelled system. He is the same guy who is now selling the useless Kirby "Bagless Conversion". Does anyone have a picture or video of that self propelled mechanism? ********** By the way, from...
