    Universal hand vac find!

Can't believe I found one of these, especially at a goodwill outlet! I think it's beautiful, that's just me, but like....who just let it get this far, to where it's almost considered trash? Either way, so excited to have it. The outer shell of the cord is crumbling off showing the (I guess it's...

A Eureka "The Boss" Smart vac find....for free!

Yes, I actually did get this for free from a vacuum shop of sorts stationed in a very large flea market in Cinci. Basically, the offices of the flea market were holding a drawing once an hour of this container of tickets. When you go to park, you gwt a ticket, sign it, put it in the container...

    A second Dial-A-Matic!

I guess I must have a thing now for this age of Hoover. As the title says, this is now my second dial a matic, this one being the other body style Hoover made. This one is not self propelled, which really I kinda prefer. That being said, while this does have a full set of new brushes, it is...

    Hoover "Fairlady" Z

Any car people out there get the reference? Anyway, look what I got today! Really this has to be one of the most odd looking sweepers ever made. That being said, I think it looks fantastic. I got this one off of a facebook marketplace post. I did a quick clean out of the filter and tank...

So, let's talk dirt devil hand vacs

One of my favorite parts of my collection is my old school dirt devil hand vacs. I saw one as a kid and they might honostly have what sparked my passion for sweepers. I'm trying to collect all colors of the old ones. I have many of them, I even have one of the green rare ones. I DID have a 2nd...

Keeping parts in stock (overkill maybe?)

Whenever I'm out looking for new sweepers, I often find bags, attatchments, etc., as well and I often times pick them up. I've got a number of peices of things here and there, but I decided to go thru my bags today. I ended up reorganizing them and counting and logging how many I had of each...

This just in, Hoover Concept 1!

I was out with the wife today, out doing some thrifting of course, and there sits this lovely light blue concept 1. Got it home, and boy howdy was it as clogged as it can possibly be. I mean the mass was the entire length of the air inlet, and hard. I had to use a screw driver to get the crud...

    Heritage 2 find

this Heritage 2 recently for $10 at a goodwill outlet. I'm really amazed at its condition considering where it came from. It does need a brushroll, but aside from that it's in pretty great shape. Even the lettering and colors on the height adjuster are quite great shape. Kirby peeps, which look...

This literally just happened, my LG Kompressor just died.

It has become a sad day, my favorite bagless of all time has just died. I never even got to use it much. I decided to pull it out today, and sweep the bedroom woth it. In a minute or two of running, it started sounding funny, and in the matter of seconds I smell smoke and it starts coming out...

Hoover Powermax! The good 'ol 90's

I got this the same day as the singer I recently posted, a whole $10! Not bad considering this is the very first powermax, or anything from the concept lineage that I've found that actually works. Bad luck maybe? Either way, as you can see most of the attatchments are missing, but it does have...

    I'M BACK! (with pictures!)

The reason why I didn't is the obvious work and family stuff, BUT I kept getting more new ones on e I got home and wanted to post them all at one time. So trust...

    Driving to Arizona!

So, my sister is moving to Arizona, and me and my wife decided that we would be the ones to take her out there. Keep in mind I live on the eastern edge of Indiana, so quite the drive! Can't pick up any sweepers yet, as we still have 12 hours to go, but on the return trip I hope to find some!!

Anyone else not have a daily driver?

I've noticed I don't really have a sweeper that I specificly use more than another. Sure, I have an Avalir and a Sentria that I could use every day considering how new they are, but I don't. I try to keep all my machines in operating condition, of course there are always a few that need work...

    Childhood reunited :)

I can't believe I finally found one! A dirt devil vision swivel glide! Now I know, it's "just a dirt devil", but I couldn't care less! This is the exact kind of sweeper my mom had when I was growing up for years before she got a dyson dc07 (but now she has a kirby G4, that she got off her pretty...

    Got my first Convertible!

I was at work the other day, having a meeting. Normally I can text while at work some as long as it's during an appropriate time, but today alas I couldn't. So little did I know my wife was out shopping around and happened to find this lovely little guy! Runs perfect, uses the top fill bags...

    Kirby G series issues

Has anyone else had any reliability issues out of G series sweepers, or did I just get some bad luck? I've had a few G series and they seem to have had more problems than older models.

I'm having trouble finding slide in brush inserts for my singer. Anybody know a part number or something I could make work? Thank you.

    What's your favorite bagless sweeper?

Now normally, I'm a bagged fan myself. But there are a few bagless ones I do like. My favorite is the LG Kompressor upright, I have the luv200r model. I think it's absoutely gorgeous and it does a good job I feel. What's yours, and why?
