I'm thinking of fitting an MD Central Vac. I don't have an attached garage so will have to fit the power unit in a cupboard in the kitchen. It's ventilated. Do you think it will be annoyingly noisy? I'm told that central vacs are quieter these days. Is this true?

I've heard rumours that Dyson are going to phase out their Cinetic models as they have come to the conclusion that it's a failed system. It lets to much fine dust through to the motor causing premature motor failure. Has anyone else heard this rumour?

I noticed all Miele 800w and 700w models are supplied with the Airteq Floorhead but not a Turbo Brush. Is this because the don't have enough power to effectively use a Turbo Brush?
