    Kirby Supervac Commercial

I haven't posted in here in years- good to see this forum is still alive. Those who know me know that we have two very busy stores now, so I don't get time to play online. This did come across our storage warehouse and I figured I'd ask here if anyone were interested before we list on eBay. Let...

I am about to place a dealer order for refurbs...

Good morning all, I am about to place an order for refurbished Hoovers from the factory. I like to order fairly large quantities, and since its Christmas, consider this my gift to you. Let me know if any of you want any of the following. The refurbs are essentially new...there's not much of...

Does anyone want a Perfect, Epic, or Electrolux Guardian?

Due to a huge influx of Electrolux trade-ins, we are about to throw some machines on CL and eBay and I wanted to see if anyone on here wanted them first. Machines: Epic 6500sr (new style wands and PN) Electrolux Guardian Encore (New Hose) Perfect "Electrolux" Canister (like new, upstairs...

Royal Household Line (not DD or metal Royal)

Greetings everyone. As we continuously expand our lines in the store, I'm always looking for new machines from our existing suppliers that we carry. We carry most of the Royal line (Lexon canister, extractor, sMetal uprights, commercial machines) but have not ordered the two lower end uprights...

    Bissell Steam Vacs

Just out of curiosity, I'd like to hear some opinions on the Bissell Steam vac series (ProHeat, etc). There's a Hoover steam vac thread underneath and some of you really sing the praises of the Hoover Spin Scrub (also my favorite). We get a ton of Bissell machines on trade constantly. In...

The NEW Decade 80...I mean Royal CR50075

Ok for all of you Decade 80 fans/Royal Fans...and TTI haters for that matter. TTI has finally done something very interesting. They have re-badged a Hoover Decade 80 as a Royal. I finally got a chance to play with the machine today when they released them to dealers. Its not horrible..its...

    Red Commercial 2 motor upright

i'm not sure how many of you have access to vendor magazines or sites, but some of you may have seen these in vacuum stores. It is called a "Commercial 2 motor upright" and comes in the color red. It's a knockoff of the Electrolux commercial upright. Anyone have any experience with these?

For all who love and appreciate the retro Panasonic Canister

Thought I'd post this picture of a machine someone brought in yesterday for repair. After all these years, she cracked the hose, rusted out the bottom plate and brushroll and has squealy bearings (this is used at their beach house). She traded it in on the new Platinum style upright with bare...

    Dyson DC18 repair tool

We got three of the DC18 models in this week for repair. After calling one of my vacuum buddies, he said there is some special tool to get them apart. Does anyone else know about these? We ended up servicing the nozzle and using a snake to clean the clog out of the elbow- on all 3 machines.

I haven't seen one of these before...

OK folks, I do know this is a Dimension that was also branded Legacy, Elite, TurboPower, etc... I guess in the South, they rarely branded them as "Constellation." It seemed worth it to put up a picture of the machine as it is the first time I've seen a Constellation upright. The customer...

Has anyone ever seen a Rexair CSD

Not that I would want to service one or buy an old one... I do notice that the entire unit is dipped into "decontamination" at the end. Is this really safe to do with one of the new Rainbows? Rexaird- your reply is awaited :-).

    Vintage bagless vacuum cleaners

I had an interesting comment from a very old customer this afternoon. She brought in her Hoover Steam Vac to trade it in on a new Steam Vac. We, of course, asked her if she wanted to purchase a new vacuum cleaner as well. She commented that "everything is bagless" nowadays and then said that...

    Opinions on Lindhaus

I'd just like to hear everyone's opinion on Lindhaus vacuum cleaners. Nobody really talks about them much on the forum, so I figured this would be a good discussion starter.

    Why are Dysons so horrible?

I figure this thread will shed some light from other vacuum folks on why Dyson is in the top 10 most horribly built machines on the market. I started paying attention today and noticed we got 6 in Friday and Saturday and 4 in today. All of them were clogged, bad filters, clutch issues, cord...

    For those dial fans....

Had a precious old elderly couple looking for something lighter as she was having a knee replacement. They purchased a Panasonic and promised to bring their Hoover self propelled vacuum in as a trade-in. When I got back to the store today, the couple had left their almost mint condition...

    New Royal Canisters

I have the full line of new Royal canister vacuums in and have noticed the eerie resemblance between the blue Royal and the Evolution. Have any other dealers noticed this?
