Thoughts on NEW Cirrus Canister 2019

This looks interesting. Does anyone have any insight on Cirrus canisters?

Any Updates to Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum?

Hi everyone. Has anyone heard if Aerus has any plans to update the Lux Guardian Platinum either this year or in the next few years? I ask because I'm going to jump on a brand new 2019 model from ebay very soon. Will they ever offer a telescoping wand? Quieter power head? The posts on the...

    Riccar Immaculate Filters - Questions

Hi people and thanks in advance for any help you can assist me with. The light on my Riccar Immacualte Canister was blinking to "Service Filter". So I assume that means to replace the HEPA filter that filters exaust on the top of the machine. I did purchase (when I bought the vacuum) a spare...

Riccar Immaculate Dirt Sensor (Power Head)

Hey everyone, I have a quick question. Today while vacuuming, the dirt sensor light on the power head of my Riccar canister was staying solid orange (sensing dirt) even though I kept going over and over the same area. Even if I took it off the carpet (it would flash between green and orange)...

Consumer Reports hits a new LOW...(Vacuum Ratings)

Has anyone seen changes made to Consumer Reports? They have a whole new format to the magazine which is pretty sucky. Small font everywhere yet they don't utilize the whole page. Every page has unused empty space at the top. Anyway, they only list 13 bagged uprights (with only Kenmore, Miele...

    Tacony Experts

As I inch ever more closer to getting a Tacony vacuum (Riccar Immaculate Premier Canister), I just have another question...why two lines of the exact same offerings of vacuums? Simplicity and Riccar offer identical machines except for names. It's not like it's a regional thing. I'm lucky...

Suction: Up the side or straight up the middle?

What's everyone's view on this? I'll see a upright with the suction hose/air port on either end of the beater bar or it favors the right or left side significantly. Some even have the suction port right up the middle (pretty much canister power heads suction ports are right up the middle)...

Cirrus Upright (What are your thoughts)

At work we've always had Electrolux uprights. A long time ago we had a big Electrolux canister (that I called R2-D2 because it looked a lot like R2-D2 and was almost as big, loved that machine but I digress). I work for a major corporation and so have no choice on who headquarters deals with...

Any Word on NEW Riccar Canister? (getting close to end of year)

I'm still anxiously awaiting the new Riccar canisters said to be coming toward the end of this year. Any word or sneak peeks when they're going to arrive?

Almost 1 Year Old Miele Capricorn...(Broken Park Lever)

It's no secret that I hate my Miele but it's just shy of a year old (May 25,2012) and the park lever broke internally. It was always hard to get it from the up right parked position to unlock and go flat to vacuum. Today I could not get the SEB 236 to lay flat at all. I had to dismantle the...

Rowenta (RO4762) Silence Force Eco Intelligent

Interesting find on Youtube. I have no idea if this is available to us in America. I never knew Rowenta made vacuums. (I'm still holding out for Riccar's new vacuum coming toward the end of the year but this deserves some looking into). What are your thoughts?

Consumer Reports (March 2013) Vacuum Tests

Well guys, the results are in for Consumer Reports vacuum testing for March 2013. As you may know, I'm in the market for a new canister vacuum and once again Kenmore tops the list with its Intuition (28014), followed by: (bagged canisters) 2 Kenmore Progressive (21714) 3 Miele Callisto (S...

Advice, looking for the BEST canister (Unhappy w/Miele)

This is my story...I HATE my Miele Capricorn (sorry guys but I do) and here's why. Miele is so not worth the cost they demand. Case in point Miele Capricorn Vacuum (top of the line) I payed around $1400.00 (added turbo brush, bigger power nozzle, extra bags & filter). I'm SO disappointed in...
