    Help needed.

Does anyone know if there is an updated cleaner head for the Dyson dc40? The newer Dyson models with the purple brush bar seem to clean much better. Also if not, does anyone know if the cleaner head from a newer Dyson like the new multi floor is interchangeable with my dc40? My current cleaner...

    Question:

Will this bag dock fit my Oreck commercial upright? The bag came lose from the filler neck today and made a huge mess for me to clean out. I really don't want this to happen again, it's disgusting. I use this Oreck for commercial use, and I NEED the freakin bag to stay on! Thanks so much!

    Question for the experts.

I'm having trouble with my Riccar 8850. When vacuuming, the slide switch keeps moving from the "carpet" to the "floor" setting shutting off the brush roll. I find this to be a pain since I use this cleaner commercially, today I ended up having to put a piece of tape on the switch to keep it in...

    I'm tempted....

Good deal? I'm kind of thinking I want it.....
  5. vacuumfreak95

    I've done the unthinkable.....

Yes, I bought an Oreck. I just took on a cleaning job at a Ford dealership, and wanted something light weight and easy to use. My budged was small and ACE hardware had the commercial model for a decent price. The dealership has a great vacuum cleaner "Riccar Upright" but the area to be vacuumed...

Picked up these two about a week ago.

Fantom Thunder and Hoover Elite Supreme. The Hoover is in great shape and has all of its tools, the Fantom does not. The Fantom works fantastic, But the inner cyclone assembly fell apart as soon as I touched it, I'm thinking maybe the machine sat in the sun for a long period of time. Anybody out...

    Disappointed.....

I've only had my brand new Riccar Moonlight a few days and the parking bracket for the nozzle has already broken. I'm not rough with my machines at all and I'm surprised this would happen on a high end vacuum cleaner so quickly. I realize this isn't a big deal, but it was so nice to be able to...

    Look what I bought today!!!

I decided it was time to buy a good suction canister for my floors. I chose the Riccar Moonlight and WOW am I impressed! This thing is by FAR the best canister vacuum I have EVER used! I lOVE the floor brush, it has horse hair bristles and has a microfiber dusting pad! It also has a great...

    Kirby Generation 6.

Decided do clean and polish my new G6 myself. Here is a photo of all three of my Kirby children together. I'm quite proud of them, since I restored them all myself!

    This followed me home today......

This G6 was at GoodWill today and I just couldn't leave it behind. It's in "ok" condition, but very dirty and full of animal hair. Works great though, and it was not too expensive. Question: Will the average vacuum cleaner repair place polish a Kirby? It's a LONG process and I don't have time do...

    HELP! 😩

So during the restoration project I removed the lever that hold the nozzle in place, not knowing it wasn't supposed to be removed, so now it is stripped. 😔 Can someone help me out? I put HOURS into this Kirby and now the nozzle won't stay on! Is there a fix for this or am I screwed? "Literally"

    Getting a free Kirby tomorrow!

A friend of mine contacted me saying she cleaned out her storage unti and has a Kirby for me. I'm picking it up tomorrow morning! I have no idea what model or what shape it's in, but will post pictures when I get it home.

    Great find today!

Found this Hoover Windtunnel today at a local thrift store. I'm not even joking, it's literally brand new! Looks like it was very lightly used by whoever owned it. Has all of the tools, most look completely unused and it also has the original owners manual. The only thing I've done to this is...

    Question for the Kirby experts.

What should I use to re-seal the fan chamber on my generation 5? Would automotive RTV sealant work?
  15. vacuumfreak95

    Anyone.....

Have a Riccar Sunburst or Moonlight canister? I'm interested in getting one in the near future, absolutely love the new floor tool! Here are my questions....How long is the cored and hose? Also does it maneuver well? Nothing a hate more than a canister with a stiff awkward hose to fight with.

    Cheap Dyson?!

I about died when I saw a Dyson for under 200 dollars at Walmart today..... Craziness! This is about what it should cost!

    Catastrophic motor failure!

One of my Elite's decided to die earlier today. Was vacuuming a rug by the back door and the motor started to slow down, grind, smoke, ETC before completely dying out....Here's what I found after inspecting the motor. Burned armature, unevenly worn carbon brushed, and broken field coil. It's not...

    Dyson still sucking!

Well it's actually been cold in south Texas! Imagine that?! Anyway I haven't been wanting to go out into the cold just to empty the vacuum so this is about two weeks worth of filth from my floors.....Even though it's clearly past the "full" line the Dyson continues to suck! In a good way. ;) I'm...

    Question for Dyson Experts!

I have a rather interesting question for you guys! I have a Dyson DC40 and was wondering if the nozzle from another Dyson model would fit on it? Such as the nozzle from the DC41 or DC65?
