    I tried sucking up some of the Downy ultra scent or whatever they're called with the Kirby. It seemed to work very well. It's been over 3 weeks and I can still smell them with the vac on and if you get close to vac you can smell them.

    My Kirby update - a year into ownership...

    I've got a very long hose with mine. It allows me to put the K in the middle of the room (think AirWay) and clean the whole room+ without moving it.

    Wasting time on fleabay

    Bored so I went to look for pre owned vacs on the bay. If you search highest to lowest price there was some neat stuff. All kinds of TriStar/Compact copies. A good number of Rainbow copies and even a Hyla!

    Intervac "Central Vacuum"

    Am I remembering a "built in" vac system that was fitted into a closet type area and had a long hose reel that you retracted when finished? It was a do it yourself install and then it diappeared from radar.
