Here are some pictures I saved from an old for-sale posting of a Breuer-Tornado machine -looks like it's missing the bag. The design says 30's-40's to me, but could be later. Looks powerful -and loud! Wish I could try one out.

Scott - yes I'm with you...would take the Hoover over the NuTone for sure. Although the NuTone unit would have used a disposable bag, so maybe I'd have to give it some thought. Both had awfully heavy hoses, but that Quadraflex definitely outcleans the NuTone/Eureka Roto-Matic head.

Thanks for the video - sounds like a TUEC! You may want to fill up those two oil tubes. Bearings sound dry, but they may just sound like that even if you've oiled them. I hope the attached pictures of the plug and key will be helpful. Owen
