That Singer sounds like a Singer Simon combination cleaner..you could fold the handle down to make it a hand cleaner or a canister vacuum.. The disposable bag was inside it and very tiny....

Power Nozzle Port My Mom's G power nozzle port was on the front of the machine under the hose connection. The Electrolux man gave my mom a little metal shim type thing that slid in under the power nozzle port. this was to keep the plug in tight so it wouldn't work loose when the hose was moving...
