I'd like to see the toys and memerobilia.... It might be easier to put up group shots and we can ask for individual shots of our favorites. One of the best parts of Vacuumland is sharing pictures with others.

It might be easier to find an entire parts donor. They pop up on ebay from time to time. The model 61 is pushing 70 years old. Probably not a lot of NOS parts left.

Nice find! It's amazing what thrift stores can have sometimes. I wonder how they got the handle to work, Convertibles have the bottom bolt going front to back and this has it going side to side?

Thanks for the info Robert, I'll be waiting on pins and needles for this one. I'm always surprised by the high quality scans on Automatic Ephemera, most of them look brand new.

Here's another one, it is still buried but I found a before picture. This one cleaned up pretty nice and I remember it being a beast, the suction pulled the carpet up quite a ways. This was my first Convertible with more than 5 amps.
