    Simplicity Wonder canster vacuum review

I consider myself a reasonably fair person so here goes: I found the video biased and harsh. You clearly are pushing Miele. However, I find many flaws with Miele products, though they are very good machines. The broken part on the hose was concerning, but as roughly as you handle things, I'm...

Brand New In Box 1995 BLACK&DECKER Turbo DUSTBUSTER - With "Superbrush" Attachment

Wow, it matches the room. I used to have a Dustbuster Deluxe. It just had an additional attachment set. It wasn't motorized. I hated it because it barely had enough suction to puck up fuzz, let alone anything else. I hope they are better now.

    Tandem Air Canisters.. any info?

I'd like to know more as well.

    Perfect PowerTeam Model C101

That makes me wonder about the Lux shut-off feature... I know they did patent it but it was in the 1950's when they did it. Patents in the U.S. last for 20 years or so. I wonder how they prevent others from copying it or designing similar features at this point? Are you able to "renew" patents...

Tacony Tandem Air Suction Not Too Great

@sptyks Your claim is demonstrably false.

Aerus Veridian Discovery 2-in-1 Cordless Handheld & Stick Vac

thanks @myles_v I phoned the Bristol plant a few weeks ago and they are still in business. This subject is now settled and the case is closed. The Bristol plant is still operational. I wonder if they make the laundry/air machines there too? You are right, it is a mess. I'll see if I can clear...

Changes I Would Make to my Maytag 1200

@gsheen My comment wasn't directed at you. I'm sorry. I do believe the march of technology is inevitable. On that note, one of the things that made computers more reliable was the invention of the semiconductor which took the place of numerous transistors and resistors. Perhaps someone is...

Changes I Would Make to my Maytag 1200

Some of the people on here sound like my father... He hated technology. He STILL cannot figure out how to operate a microwave. He's never been much for anything "automatic." He always bought cars with crank windows until they stopped making them. He bought a new kitchen stove when we moved in...

    Got My Maytag M1200 Today!

Also, how would you describe the noise level of the tandem-air power nozzles?

    Got My Maytag M1200 Today!

Dang, after hearing all this, now I'm excited for the tandem air nozzles!

Really good looking machines aren't they?

    Aerus introduces a cordless upright

@tolivac What's the noise level of these machines?

    Aerus introduces a cordless upright

Speaking of the Prima and Wonder... Here is a short demonstration of a Riccar Prima... Rather squeaky power nozzle wheels as the viewers noted. Seems rather rickety. One hopes that Tacony can do better than this...

    Bison Mark II Weekend-Reno!

@opelgtkarl There are a few threads about these on here. Just do a google search and click on the link to show all vacuumland.org results. Apparently They are somehow related to Kirby and a squabble between two of their engineers (or something like that) so one left and started another company...

    Aerus introduces a cordless upright

@panasonicvac What is that white canister machine behind those Simplicities in that photo you posted?

    Aerus introduces a cordless upright

I agree gsheen The only problem with this (and others) is the lack of attachments. I still prefer canister vacuums. I hope someone can create a good one with a power nozzle.

    Searching for a new vacuum

If you are using the machine that much then buy what you want. If you have mostly carpets, but still clean above the floor a lot, I'd buy a canister with a power nozzle. Of course, if you don't mind fooling with two machines, you can buy two. I've had to use two machines before and it just...

    Aerus introduces a cordless upright

@n0oxy We have went over and over that subject of how the Guardian Platinum came about. Some say Aerus was involved in it'd development and some have doubts. As of yet, I have seen no definitive proof one way or the other. Until someone provides indisputable proof, I will not accept anyone's...

    Aerus introduces a cordless upright

I want a full size canister. What about the Moxie? I was thinking that was the one I would get.

    My Kirby G5!

Yes, if one knows how to repair and refurbish them, one could make a small fortune selling them to vac collectors.
