Hi Tom,
Never received your email. Odd. I also checked my junk mail. Can you resend? My message was about the Dial-A Matics. [email protected]. Thanks so much! Best! Richard.
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the follow up on the Dial-A-Matics. Are the 3 you have pictured the only models you have? I have the power drives. I would be interested in the regular Dial-A-Matic. Any others? Is the base on the orange one in good shape? Any scratches? My email is...
I need to repaint the beige base of a basic Hoover Dial a Matic. Can anyone give me a recommondation of where I can get a good spray paint, what color even a number would be close and also what I can use to smooth out some very light imperfections? I am on a budget. Thanks so much!
Is there any way to still get the green chevron brush? Would love to have one! Why did Aerus/Electrolux stop making them? What is the advantage of the Chevron? Better nap lift? What about gentle carpets? Could it damage? Thanks!
Andy, I would be intersted in the filter if you have one. I am wondering if the motor sizes are all standard on those machines. Let me know if you have one and we can arrange. Thanks. Richard.
Can one of you experts tell me what this adaptor is for? It came with my Miele. It fits in the bare floor tool and into the end of the wand. Basically, the same dementions of the Miele attachments. This has always puzzled me.
Thanks!
Okay thanks again.

I have a 6500 L shaped power nozzle that had water exposed to it by accident. The brush rollor does not turn nor does the gear that the belt is attached to. The nozzle was wrapped in plastic. Some water must have seeped in those area's of the motor. Not sure if the entire motor is effected...
I have some rust parts on my Eureka wands. I am wondering if they can be sanded or there is a chemical that I can use to remove the rust. They may be a little pitted under the rust. Not sure.
Any advice for a process I can try?
Thanks so much!
Richard.
