    Conventions

I don’t quite understand why everyone is being so polite, kowtow’ing to someone who has stated they would “honestly...punch a guy in the face (if he tried to hit on me)”. Why are you so worried about him feeling safe and comfortable? I’d like to know that all of the gay guys are safe...

    Kirby 561 Sweet Air Plug

Thanks Kelton... Thanks for confirming that. Kevin, I have a 510 with an emtor that was missing it’s lil red plug. I put a round end screw in it and painted the top of screw red. I also noticed that the short red-tipped screw from the Handi-Sharpener works too. NOW, I’ll be really curious to...

    Kirby 561 Sweet Air Plug

I thought only the earlier models had sweet-Aire ports. If a 562 has one, does that mean it has a sani-emtor from an earlier model?

Almost every vac you wanted, but didn't get for Christmas,

Jimmy, I just attempted to email you at [email protected]. Undelivered message came back. Would you be willing to email me a copy of photo of Sears catalog showing broom vacs? Then I can use that photo to post “wanted” thread to attempt to locate one of those. I guess one cannot copy...

Thanks Jimmy, Would you like me to wait to hear from you, or should I call you in a few weeks to check? Maybe I should have a package of those bags that fit the Sears broom and prepare for the vacs appearance. Jeff

    Sears Stick or Broom vac

Oh my gosh!!! Rugsucker: that first photo of catalog is it, I think. (Except colors mentioned are Celery Green or Riviera Blue and ours was tan, so probably from different year) Thank you for finding and photographing the catalog! Collector2: what brand is yours? Looks nice...may I see some...

    Sears Stick or Broom vac

It was a hard shell. It must have used disposable bags. It had a slide switch on handle. I don’t know what a Douglas is. Thanks for your help!

    Sears Stick or Broom vac

Thanks, that’s a good idea I had not thought of. I see we were born in the same year!

    Sears Stick or Broom vac

On my wish list is to find the Sears tan/beige stick vac that my grandparents had in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. I do own a Sears Kwik-Sweep by Regina but that is not it. I have no idea who made it for Sears and I’ve never seen another like it. I have a vague recollection that it had a plastic/rubber...

    Lux model 30/XXX tools

The brush bristles on my older (all metal) hard floor brush are worn down to almost nothing. It appears that when the brush is taken out of a later model floor tool it is the same size...and can be installed into the older tool (except I do realize the screw holes are in different positions)...

Today’s “Vacuum of the Day”- Electrolux 1205

It says the PN is available with either two or three wires. I’ve never seen a three wire PN. Was that grounded for commercial use? Anyone have photos?
