    I will open it to see how it made inside of this one. It true they are pricey, but they are made in metal.

    I don't know the year of this vacuum, but I think is older than 20 years. It don't have the name of the brand, but I think is a metrovac. This vacuum was used to clean printer and computer. The guy at my job was going to throw this vacuum, because it was not used for many year.

    The motor and the bearing seem fine, I never used a Kirby before. This is the last pictures of it.

    I started polishing it. This is the result, only the center is polished. Anyone had remove the mechanism to put and remove the belt? Did the screw in under the sticker? It is easy to remove the sticker and put it back?

    This week-end, I bought this Kirby for 20$ in a garage sale. It's my first Kirby. I have some work to do to make it shine. I bought some wool steel #0000 and Mother mag & aluminum polish and I wish he will be shiny after that.

    Yes, is working good now. For a battery vacuum, is good on hard floor and ok on low pile carpet.

    The pipe which collect the dust at the back is a rectangular flexible hose in grey plastic. It can be release easily by pressing the clip on each side of the hose.

    The push button to release the cap who keep the roller-bar is at the back at right.(Sorry I can't take a picture of it, I give it to my mother, I don't have place here and more useful at their home) Is true it's a nice night light.

    The brush-roller on my Electrolux Ergorapido have two slide of blue bristles and the bristles are really soft.

    I find this vacuum today on the side walk, is a Electrolux Ergorapido. The model is 1011 and the type is A-2, the 12v one. The brush roll was not working, it was jam by hair so I clean it. Now is look like a new one. I didn't try it yet, the filter is drying.

    This is the dommage of the bag, the leather had crack and the dust will go out. This is my first vacuum like that. Do they still sell bag? Can I sew leather on it? I need your advise. Thanks
