    Mint 1954 Hoover Constellation Model 82

    Another new baby arrives at Scott's house, again via godfathers Marc Turbyfill and Rick Benedikt! The first Connie, a "non-floater", and what a beauty. I don't think it was ever used. Not a mark on the canister, hose looks brand new, all boxes look showroom new! Kind of a big step for me...

    Whats your quietest and loudest vacuum?

    The loudest.... ....without a doubt, is my 10 amp Royal Upright. I swear you can hear it for blocks. The quietest has to be my Constellation Model 82.

    The handle is amazingly blemish free. too.... Must be that Elphaba green paint has some magical anti-scratching properties....

    Another new edition to the collection, a model 707, which surely has some of the loudest 1970's style colors I have ever seen on a vacuum!

    the cord..... Sure looks like it is orginal, in excellent shape. It has that kind of weird feel (slippery?) like a lot of appliance cords from the 30's and 40's do....
