    Tan Electrolux Model G Worth?

As many on this site have said over the years "It's what someone is willing to pay." The dealer might let it go for little or big. Seller and buyer both factor into the deal.

Why don't Barber Shops and Hair Salons typically use vacuums?

In my youth all the barber shops my family used has vacuums! The childhood barber had an Airway between the chairs. First Airway I'd ever seen. After that there was a Eureka Rotomatic and then believe it or not a Hoover Portable! Today, the salon I go to has a VacuMaid barbershop system...way...

    Central Vacuum - Pistol Grip

Kevin! Steer clear of Aerus! Messy foam filter that you have to wash and rinse and rinse and rinse! Mind you, they give you two, but labor intensive! Also not a quiet machine without the optional sound dampening dome! Riccar centrals ave Cyclovac machines. You are paying a premium for the...

    This couldn't be for real!

That is a rebuild I believe from Metropolitan Vacuum.! Yep the same that make new machines today! My Grandmother had one very similar. Grandma's only Electrolux tool was the rug tool! Worked great, though!

Huskyvac: "being a kitchen appliance, nobody collects them." WRONG! There are many members here and on AW that are collectors of kitchen appliances, cookware and more. On both sites is Hans Craig--Kenkart here, who has a BARN full of small appliances and cookware. On AW, members collect...

    Ge range question.

GE burners John! While you think the problem might be the burners, you should also check to see if the switches are bad. Do you get any heat on any burner setting other than high? If you do, it's an indication that the switch is the problem. The burner isn't always the problem! You know...

    A good haul this weekend

Oh! The pan is designed for the machine to rest in when you have the carpet brushes in, so they don't get crushed. You've got something special there!

    A good haul this weekend

Suds shield snaps in place on the underside of the machine. There's a little opening in the middle of the bottom plate you snap it into. Splash guard goes around the outside of the machine. Yours might be marked as to "rear." Splash guard means splash guard. If you have black brushes that...
