    Precor Sunbeam attachment........

You both should watch out for the POD of the Preco! Should be in the rotation soon!

    Hose end....

Yes! Royals all used a hose end and wand system identical to FQ. And NO! Did not use the same tools!

    Hose end....

Just like a Filter Queen hose end except blue

    Precor Sunbeam attachment........

Thanks! I think our friend got his companies mixed up! I have several Preco nozzles under various names...Singer, Westinghouse, Beam come to hand. Primitive but effective. Later ones had a plastic neck instead of metal and are prone to cracking. Greg

How about sharing a link or picture so we can all watch!

    Longer Hose....

No. Miele does not have and kind of electric add-on hose! Wish they did. When I used a Miele years ago, I had the same thought!

    Vibra-beat

You all are looking at a piece of Eureka vacuum history! The Vibra Beat was a waste of money and one of the most in-effective vacuum tools ever made! To many, the noise equaled power! Fun to use. Search the archives: there's lots about it! Hook it up to a central system and you'll die...of...

    Some of my Kenmore Power-teams!

Mike! Magic Cord was Kenmore's name for their cordwinder. Some models were called that and often had a little emblem on top saying magic cord. One other fun note about 70's K's was that the plug had a right angle end! Greg

    Kenmore uprights

Our Webmaster's posting of Kenmore pages has me asking: Did Sear's ever have a really good upright vacuum? The pages Robert posted show a few (or the same ) uprights but was there ever a real "winner" in the Kenmore upright line? I know they had a version of the Singer twin fans and then in...

Vintage Compact tool wont fit hose or wand

Compact tools and hoses... Les! Where to you get the idea that Compact metal tools are from Electrolux? Antione! Explain about Compact hoses being larger than 1 1/4" in diameter. You guys make these statements that need backing up!

    Clean with Me

Of the 14 homes I clean on various schedules each month, half have cordless Dysons, one has the cheapest Shark and the others have various machines, all cheap or Orecks. Oe has no machine as she say's that's what I'm there for! She say's I came with the house...more or less true!

Vintage Compact tool wont fit hose or wand

This is because original genuine Compact hose ends and wands are NOT true 1 1/4 inch! they are slightly larger in diameter! Ever notice why the Eureka style PN's have an adapter piece at the bottom of the wand? That''s why! They are "stepped-up" from 1 1/4 to Compact diameter! I can't talk...

    holy macaroni 500$?????

Believe what you want! Vacuums and storage chests have been around since the 40's!

    holy macaroni 500$?????

You are both wrong! Everything about that is correct! Compacts and Revelations often were sold with storage chests or in those days called "hassocks." It was a fancy way to store vacuum in plain site in your home and even have an extra piece of furniture. Rainbows were sold with storage...

Your Opinion: Most Powerful Electrolux/Aerus Lux to look for

I didn't know Royal made a Powercast canister! All I've even seen is the underwhelming upright! Can someone share a picture? Am I just confusing that name with what I will always call a Royal deluxe "Pony" Thanks! Greg

    ATTENTION SMOW69

Compact! That was rude and dis-respectful of another member of VL! I suggest you re-read the rules of this form about being respectful of other posters. On this topic, I as the other poster said you show a lack of respect for others in your constant appeals for others to help you find the right...

    Compact c5

This is not worth $100.00! And it would not have come with a power nozzle. C-5's set-up for the PN had the PN plug on top of the body just back of the bag compartment. What makes this machine collectable is that the exhaust came out of the sides instead of straight out the exhaust. This...

What are the best generic/stand alone vacuum tools?

Anything Centec sells is great! But I do have personal preferences from others and am not afraid to spend $$$ to buy several and try them out and then decide!
