Royal Metal Uprights - Narrow and Wide Wheels

I just unboxed my Stark 880 a little bit ago. Honestly, I think the 880 is more stable than my 801, which has all narrow wheels. The 801 tends to tip towards the bag side. I am liking the 880, much more powerful than my 801, but my 801 may need bearings. I also got the headlight working on the...

    Just bought a Royal 880

Ben, You might want to try adjusting the brushroll. My 801 brushroll has numbers on it like a kirby's brushroll. Set it to 3 and see if that helps. Also, if you are looking for the air freshener crystals I have attached a link where you can buy them. On a side note, do you think bearings are...

who know about a regina electrikbroom?

I couldnt detach the bag so I hosed out the inside in the tub, taking care to keep water where it should be. I didnt use soap because I worry about the dye bleeding but its clean now. just waiting for it to dry now. Im not sure how common or uncommon these are, I just saw it was a regina and...

who know about a regina electrikbroom?

I picked this up at a thrift shop for $3 today. Its a Regina ElectrikBroom 3 speed. The motor was a bit dry when I bought it so I tore it apart and lubed it. Seems to work OK. I get the feeling if I washed the cloth bag it would have alot more suction. Does anybody know how to remove the bag...

Royal 801 Polish - Before & After pics

I found a dremel with buffing wheel sped things up considerably. It took the oxidation right off, but looked like a used a grinder almost. A final hand buff smoothed everything out though. Using the dremel did in seconds what would normally take 15 minutes of rubbing the same spot.

I am very happy with the results! It looks 20 years younger. I wish it didnt have those scratches on the nozzle but thats what you get with 50 years of use
