    Who here has used a Scott & Fetzer Wireless Vac-u-ette? I'm quite curious on how well they actually work? I have only seen one video and it didnt show it cleaning. I want one really bad but if it doesnt work very well I really dont want to spend that kind of money. Pics and VIDEO would be awesome!

    bearing you can tell by looking at it if its a sleeve or ball bearing. There would be a place to add oil just to the rear of the fan housing on the right side.     What was the strangest thing you found stuck in a vintage vacuum

    cleveland the cord is unusable. I would really like it in working conditition and was going to replace it with the same twisted cloth cord. I was still going to keep the little bit of original cord thats left

    the cleveland does not have a latch that holds the nozzle on. it is held on by 4 flat head screws around the fan case. The earliest patent is March 19, 1907 and the latest is July 11, 1922

    I finished shining the kirby classic 1-CR. It looks alot better but not as good as I hoped. My buffing wheelwas shot by the time I was done so I'm sure thats why.

    when I had it apart the fan looked original, although I'm not sure how to tell. I remember we used to have an electric wall clock that if you unplugged it in plugged it back in, it would run backwards. I sure hope its working as designed

    Oreck motor question

    if you turn off the lights and watch the motor, is it sparking at the brushes or do you see it arcing around the armature. If you see electricity running around the armature, its most likely bad. If the brushes are shot, they might have damaged the armature.
