belts you must have gotten a bad Bach of belts. I have had a few brake like this a few years back. try using a gen Hoover belt part # 44783 this is a better made belt. hope this helps Chris

carbon brushes you can use hoover convertible carbon brushes. I use them all the time wen I service hoover dial a matics, they work great. Chris
