cord the cords can be changed on the cord winders but the the wire size is ditternt. the older luxes have a 18/2 cord the newer supper J and up use a 17/2 cord. do to higher amp motors. Chris

air-tec bags I like the air-tec bags to. I use them in my old handy-way and thay work great. I sel them in my vac shop to + I just started selling the bk 2000 vacuums, its a great vacuum. the power and air flow is awsom. Chris

hose use the old hose ends to make a new hose. you can buy hose by the foot + cuffs to make a new one. hoover still makes chrome wands that will replace the aluminum wands. Chris

hose with out the power nozzle you should have kepet the old hose because a new hose could have ben added to the old ends. but vac shops can get a replacement hose still. last time I called sears you could still get a electrick hose new too. Chris

wheels eureka still sells the wheels for the power drive uprights. I can get you the eureka part # if you need it. I got some from essco a short time ago. Chris

check your wheels the back wheels should have rubber on them. It some times comes off with old age and there will be teeth showing that can heart the rug or not make it drive right. Chris

I have a supremacy upright model U4721-900 its like new. I also have a coustomer that has a supremacy canister model s3623 she brings it in for service every two years. its still in good shape. Chris

lux knock off looks good. I will try one in my vac shop, I am in a lux town so thay might sell good. dont like the made in china. like the hepa bags thay should fit the old lux's. the price is a bit high, but made of medel its got to be better than most plastic junk for big bucks. the air-teck...
