Thank you for all of your kind words. What a nice group of people we have here! Morgan - the embroidered logo is hand stitched. In fact, I used the machine to sew up the denim bag...not necessarily easier than hand sewing, but definitely faster.

That's a Kirby 515, one of my favorites. I'll show you more pics as soon as I have it reassembled. I took a notion to dismantle it late yesterday to give the motor the full "treatment."
