    Shark Rocket... for dys0nb0y

for dys0nb0y You must buy one when they come to the UK. It really is excellent, doesn't quite match the performance of it's bigger brother (pictured), but I'm sure it can out-perform a lot of other vacuum cleaners, especially in the straight suction dominated UK/AUS market. I find the unit is...

    Thane X5 Vac

its not Too bad actually, suction is pretty strong and seems to keep it. 15 min run time is good. The liquid lifter is a separate unit, and it can be rinsed easily. The stain remover tool is OK, but the window tool is pretty silly. The floor tool is small but nimble and practical. The best...

    Thane X5 Vac

Does anyone have one? I've just ordered one here in Australia, as I'm curious more than anything. It says it has a European designed dynamic motor that spins at 26,000rmp which is much faster than a normal cordless vacuum... I'm curious haha http://www.danozdirect.com.au/x5-vac/

    Shark in Australia..

I just got the Rocket Came in the post a week ago.. it's fantastic! I really like it, only 550w but its really powerful. I don't think I'd want it to be my only vacuum but I certainly rather it over a dyson stick DC35 that I used to have. I love all the attachments too... bad news - $599

    Dyson DC40 Mis-aligned handle structure

I won a DC40 At a dyson trade night... it was average, it felt cheap and the handle creaked and could be almost twisted 5-15 degrees. I sold it.

    HOPELESS ACCESSORIES/TOOLS

Wertheim Dust Accelerator "That " bag saver" was featured on the last line of Wertheim bagged cylinder models, although I cant see how it would have saved bags, seeing as it would let through the fine dust that clogs the bag's pores, and stop the larger particles, so the bag would still clog...

bank vault vacuum cleaner the same as wertheim

To Clarify.. Wertheim is owned by AVCC which is Godfreys and Hoover in Australia. The name comes from sewing machines that were sold in the 50's and 60's in the Godfreys stores. The machines started off as Italian built, then moved to Electrolux in the early 90's (Sweden) and production then...

    Korean Bissells

They aren't really Bissell, They are made by Samsung Electronics :) You are looking at the Digipro and the Lift-Off series of uprights. Pretty good quality in my opinion and here they were priced (the Lift Off Uprights) for around $500-$700 and sold pretty well. Because Bissell has a more...

    Von Schrader... WTF

Hi Guys, Need some help with something rather cool I have found. I can only find limited info as to what I am actually looking at and what it can do for me. This is a damn cool retro looking piece of kit and I think that if it works and does something worthwhile that I think its worth the...

    Electrolux Ultra Active Deep Clean

We only had problems in australia when people got something stuck in the cyclone that didn't allow the fine dust to fall out of the air stream. a ball of fluff would stop the dust and dirt exiting the cyclone path and allow it straight thru into the foam pre-motor filter. These are a really...

    Popularity of uprights

Interesting.. I think you will find its manufacturer driven. In Australia, in the early 90's uprights dried up here and it has become a canister saturated market. The main manufacturers here that still retail uprights are: Miele Vax Dyson Kirby Bissell Most of the manufacturers other than the...
