I got this on ebay a few weeks ago. Until today, this is the only one I've ever seen. It's probably the rarest of my Dirt Devil models. I suspect that Royal was supporting their local team when they made this. Based on the paperwork, it was manufactured in the late 1980s.

The Royal Type H bags should fit all Prince models. They all used the same metal bag ring. Just watch out for hair and stuff causing clogs with the paper bag.

If I were you I'd find a good welder in your area that had aluminum welding capabilities. Once welded you could probably buff out most of the damage. Any pictures of the complete machine?

If its not the hose, it might be the rubber motor gasket. You might want to check that if the suction is weak at the machine itself.
