My vote's with Charlie... The 30/XXX is as timeless as a '65 Mustang! The Hoover 825 is incredible (it's invaluable to be able to KNOW the make of your vacuum while running it at night without lights on in your underwear!) and a pristine Hoover 29 is like the Biblical 'Pearl of Great Price!'...

Very cool pic Many people do (may) not have known that early homes did not have electrical outlets, hence the screw-in adaptors in addition to 'screw-in' cord ends. Thanks for finding/sharing this! RB

Awful colors.... How very true, Morgan. And like Charlie, I tend to be more of a purest, but as you and Pete pointed out, it is better to have them preserved than headed to the crusher. There are, however, some vacuums I would heartily recommend doing just that! Rick
