    Bison on Ebay

Driving Bison? Like most of us, I am thinking/assuming this is going to a collector. However, the well-matched and upgraded bag, allowing for F&G-style throw-away bags would make it more user-friendly if it were in fact purchased to drive. I can't imagine anyone dealing with a Sani-Emptor...

    Bison on Ebay

Recent Bison Transaction Actually, the shipping was far less than that based on its actual destination but was generously waived due to its solid sales price. RB

    Sad trip to becoming Vintage

Plasti-Vacs Hey Alan! I like that! I usually use the less specific term P.O.S. but in many cases, your term is perfect!! (Still, there are times when P.O.S. still does it more justice, I'd say!) Perhaps there is a way to expand one term or t'other!! (hybrid) (I am also a December dude) RB

    Hoover Model 28 hose question

and that model 28 has been relisted a few times Hi again, William Just my input, but if you're serious about owning a 28, I would wait for a really nice one. They are out there if you are patient and you will love it forever! They are timeless, Iconic, and historically significant...

Whats the best vintage vacuum cleaner out there?

I have to chime in on your 63 , too! Hi there! As Fred noted, that is a GORGEOUS 63/63 Ensemble. We WOULD like to know the story/history behind it if you know. I LOVE that entire series from the 62 through the 634, 29 inlcuded. Inquring minds want to know! RB

    Hoover Model 28 hose question

hose suction on Model 28 Hello William Well, even being a huge lover of most things Hoover including the iconic Hoover Model 28, I have to tell you the suction at the end of the hose (or even right off the converter) is pretty anemic! That said, it is still fun to have a comlete...

    A Perfect Example

So your saying my F vac is an automatic E? Hi again. No, actually I am LOL right now! 'E-tank' was my attempt to refer to you (ElectroluxTank) but apparently, it was not as funny in 'print' as in my head!! The (last) cleaners you posted surely are model F's (AF's) The 'E' on the handle also...

    A Perfect Example

E-tank Thanks for posting some variations of the plugs (Charles, too.) The 'middle' example/plug is an aftermarket plug by Electrolux; it actually comes apart for installation and was often installed by your friendly salesman though he probably tried to convince you to upgrade to a new machine...

    A Perfect Example

the eternal, unending argument about collecting .... John, how very, VERY true! Still, it does make for rousing discussions. One or two people went nuts when a very nice/complete Pink GE Roll-Around went for $700 a number of years ago (seems like about 5) Yes, anything is at least...

    Electrolux nozzles etc.

Rick-O-Matic! I'm fairly certain the Lux Rug Tool you are inquiring of is the original, 1937 (earliest) model 30 issue. Sounds like your Grandma took awesome care of her 30. I'll bet you miss it, but at least you experienced it!! Most people in those days really appreciated their machines...

    Hoover Model 417

Very nice find!! What a great find, Stephen! Looks to be in really excellent condition. Interesting that from a color standpoint, it looks to be a hybrid between our 41 and 42 cylinders or tanks; the bonze-y tan color being like the body of our 42, and that wonderful maroon/burgundy being...

    P.O.D. LUX ARRAY,

I really love this 'Line-up' of Electrolux evolution but wish they had taken a bit more time and made it more accurate. Still, it's lots of fun to see the metmorphosis or progression. RB
