    I believe it's stated to mean "Factory No Longer Available"   I suppose the original factory part is no longer made/available...my best guess :)

    Thanks Yes, I would have to agree that the quality on the earlier models was most likely better. Was the first Windtunnel Upright released in 1996?!?! I believe it was the burgundy model and Hoover even had a TV infomerical on it's launch...at least in NY there was an infomercial... I hope...
