Polished And Shined Kirby Heritage (pics inside)

I use a polishing compound usually made for plastics, as well as a light wax such as turtle wax And using a very light grade sandpaper in soapy water really does the trick too before you use compounds...it really gets the grime right outta the metal!

    Bisons?????

I shall begin my hunt to find one of those! Even though I love the way those look, they seem a bit clunky...especially compared to a Kirby. They do look Star-wars esque!

    Kirby Height - 1 click or 2?

Definetely However, I don't run into too many people that consider a vacuum cleaner a "machine"...even though they are. Now everything in the home is deemed to be an "appliance".

    Kirby Height - 1 click or 2?

I love the sound of the Kirby's airflow through the carpeting up to the machine...makes it sound like a real machine!

    Kirby Height - 1 click or 2?

    What is the WROST vacuum?

Most if not all stick vacs. And Royal's hand-held and dirt devils. Though, I must say the new Classic they have out does a pretty good job.

I think Kirby is the last one left here in the states.

    Most powerful vintage vacuum?

My Dual Sanitronic 50 seems to have the best power. It even sounds pretty mean when I use it...I always get quite a bit of dirt too. That and it just seems to "stick" to the floor unlike most I use.

Royal Vacuum Amperage - Does Higher Always Mean Louder?

Probably another selling point or gimmick to get people to buy the most "powerful" or in my opinion wasteful. Plus, Ive notice not only are the higher amped machines louder, but they burn out a lot faster than their older counterparts. More bang, more buck. Although, I might be wrong! But...

The universe is groaning over this incomprehensible tragedy

Such blunt frankness can easily be intrepreted as arrogance. To be frank I would have been livid had I been the seller....or just laughed, either way.

The universe is groaning over this incomprehensible tragedy

Of course it would be worth more, they can afford it, can pay the price, and are willing...therefore setting the top end worth. I had to fight for my DS50 bag, demand was high and availability low. Now it seems like they're a lot more common.....
