Shop vac
If you have a shop vac what i'd do is take the hose off the electrolux and stick the hose of the shop vac in it and turn the shop vac on. If done long enough the item clogging the hose should come out.

Not exactlly sure
I'm not exactlly sure one how to tear apart one of these as i have never done this before, but i'm sure once you look over the machine, or get a diagram you'll figure it out. I'm sure it's not too much of a challenge for you to do.

If it didn't work
If the thing didn't work of course i'd toss it out. If it's not fixable then yes i would. What model Kirbys do you have and would you like to trade me for one?

On Craigslist now is this... It's in C.A, so i don't think any of you would be able to get it, but it's worth looking at.

Junk it
With a vacuum like that you shouldn't waste your time or money on fixing it. I'd junk the thing and get a Kirby instead. But that's just me. Too bad half the vacuums that are sold are a complete waste of ones money....

What can a Sanitaire pick up?
What sort of things can a Sanitaire pick up? I'm currious to know. Wonder what would break on of these things too.
