fan you should be able to get a fan at your local vac shop it is a standard hoover fan for decade or convertible.

It doesn't seem to hurt it at all. I just use a small amount.

I have used the Gain scent boosters in my rainbow for extra fresh scent. I just put maybe 10 little beads in and have them dissolve. It really smells fresh as you vacuum.

Glad you were able to get them and "save" them from the regular consumer that would tear them up even more. They both should clean up well.

There should be a plastic Cage that comes out to place the bag on and then it goes in the canister.
