    What should I get?

The idea behind the kind was so I could zip around our finished basement and pick up a majority of the pet hair, empty the dirt cup and wash the filter and at the end of the day not pay for it. This would save me money on the atrociously expensive platinum bags. Also, I would just get the...

    What should I get?

Alright. I think I am now sold on the platinum collection because of the center dirt path, chevron brush roll, and direct air system. Plus the style and uniformity of all three of the units looking great together. I will also buy the corded canister that is bundled with the upright for above...

    What should I get?

Vacuumfreeeke, I would get the platinum handheld with the lightweight because of the fact that it looks good next to it. Also, does the anniversary handle like a Kirby, or is it a little easier?

    What should I get?

Well thank you very much for all your advice. I think I may have finally hit the tipping point and am going to buy the all platinum line. I would like to get the corded platinum stick vac instead of the cordless because of the longevity (lithium ion batteries don't last forever). But, if I also...

    What should I get?

I do like direct air vacuums more, but I would be concerned about the plastic fan and fan case. Right now it's pretty much down to appearance. I love them both, as my favorite color is the blue on the anniversary, but I also like the design of the platinum. My mom would never let me have two...

    What should I get?

Hey everyone, lately I have been having trouble making decisions and this is no exception. I am trying to sell my Kirby and Electrolux Ergorapido Ion in order to get the funding for a new power team. So far my choices are: Hoover Platinum Collection Lightweight Bagged Upright, with a LINX...

    All Blue Floating Constellations

I would like to find a blue Hoover Constellation that floats, and have been searching eBay with no luck. How many models were there that were blue?

Dirt Devil Broom Vac (the good one!)

New Pro Series... Seems to consist of the corded version of the Hoover Linx Stick vac, the same Dirt Devil Classic handheld bagless in blue, and the relabeled windtunnel with dirtfinder or as Royal calls it "cleanseeker". I am currently torn between buying the handheld, or the corded stick vac...

    Electrolux Ultralux Classic

Also, what canister would've corresponded with the Discovery III upright? I want to say a regular Marquis because of the color, but I'm unsure.

    Electrolux Ultralux Classic

Thanks for all the information. I'm a little blind to the canisters. In the classifieds in the paper it says it has been cleaned, lubed, and serviced. I will see about that :)

    Electrolux Ultralux Classic

Is an Electrolux Ultralux Classic for $120 a good deal? If so, could I get any more money off it on eBay when I get bored of it?

    My New (Old) Rainbow!

That's quite literally disgusting... I'm sorry. Some of us might be greenies in this world but we do need chemicals to be able to clean things. I wash my rubber floor mats from my moms car in the driveway with bleach weekly. Always gives the car a fresh clean smell and I know I am killing all of...

Ben, does the VG I actually perform better than the II on an R-1024 F nozzle?

    KIRBY VS. DYSON

Since everybody has a different opinion this thread will quickly go to hell I believe.

Rainbow D4 SE PE Aquamate question

Sooo.... Rainbowjoel, if I buy that aftermarket cord, strap it to my wet pickup hose, connect one end to the vacuum and one end to the AquaMate I should be fine? Should I be worried about overload or other electrical problems?

Rainbow D4 SE PE Aquamate question

That's a lot of parts! Thank you for the info though. I will certainly look into it.

Rainbow D4 SE PE Aquamate question

Hmmm. Hopefully someone that knows for sure will say something. I guess I don't have to give up hope yet :)

Rainbow D4 SE PE Aquamate question

And I suppose you wouldn't want to be jimmy rigging anything dealing with water and electricity... What a disappointment. I will have to search for an e series two speed on eBay then. I don't want the one speed if I get an e series.

Rainbow D4 SE PE Aquamate question

Can the Rainbow AquaMate III be used with a Rainbow D4 SE Performance Edition? It would seem as though it would work as the performance edition uses the new style power nozzle.

    Rainbow D2

Mine makes odd noises when I shut it off. Sometimes it winds down smooth, other times with vibration or squeaking. Is this a sign of dry bearings?
