But, really, don't hold back! looolol True, The "Z" wasn't Hoover's finest hour.  But, I have one, used only twice at minimeets.  They do work. BUT,  they are loud, clumsy, etc.... They were geared toward "MEN"... But, one should have one in their collection.

I think Joe and I were thinking of visiting you NEXT Friday.   That good?

Hillary, Yes, nice machines!   To have the Dial A Matic, with GENUINE belts, and tools WITH the box and manual is a nice find!  Shipping could be rough, but..decent prices, indeed.  Best of luck with that!

I stood in the room where the photo lab was. It had everything..... state of the art.. "then". Tom A. And I were able to go through it before demolition.    Imagine the photo shoots there!!

I figured he'd reside indoors. Those machines might not look like they do. If so. We're all ofcthose machines taken outside.     For a group shot?

I was wondering,  are the serial numbers on Singer vacuums read the same as Hoovers?  For instance, how would I read them?  I'm trying to figure some out .  My aunt taught for Singer, and always had a S Vac...until she got her Hoover 1076! Any info?  Many thanks.

Today marks the birthday of the great vacuum company that once graced Maple Street in N Canton, Ohio.   08-08-08, Hoover's 100, was my first VCCC convention.   Memories.

This might be a Longshot, but Might you be able to bring these items to PA when you go to Joe's Fall minimeet? I could leave the funds with him there....

Michael, You don't need to justify any purchase to anyone. It's your business, your wife, your money, and now, your vacuum. But, you're a smart man. You already know that. Cover yourself in Teflon for haters, bashers, etc.
