    Not getting too involved, but..... I'm not sure that Luke (who has always been very nice to me)  is associating with certain collectors anymore.  Summer...........................  But, to quote Johnny Matthis, "It's not for me to say".

    These vacs all are really worth only what people will pay for them.  We all may have paid a bit more for a hard to fing.. once in a lifetime... find.   But, like ebay,, if people won't pay,  it won't sell.

    It WAS wonderful Going to The Boston Store, The Globe Store, Sears, Pomeroys, The Bon Ton, etc  and seeing all of those shiny new vacuums lined up. The Pittston Electric Store featured Dial A Matics in the windows. There would be Connies, Slimlines, Convertibles, etc, in addition to other...

    Yes, it's ok to soak the hose. You'll be amazed at what hS stored in there. The metal is aluminum.   Not sure I'd keep in water for an extended time.

    Does anyone really think that is a man?  If so,  they did a great job.  I've heard the 'legend'.  So many 'other' things have been said, that, of course, weren't true.  Just thinking......

    Happy New Year, Brian! I have a Connie at the ready at all times.  And, I'm far from finished from cleaning, lolol   Luckily, I have an 'array' of Hoover products.

    lolol It's been called LOTS of things! as have I.  But, yes, actually,  Will came for New Years.  I lined that 'staircase'.  I'll show pics.  It's still 'set up'.

    My late aunt's Model 69 motor was transplanted into this. The original bag came from Chris in New york.
