Not the central air style material . The window unit material . It can be made slightly larger than the original piece and pressure can keep it in place . It can also be replaced as needed. ( eyes crossing and rolling )

You can make one using air conditioner filter material from Home Depot .

Great if you have it I have a super j Olympia Silverado field coil and armature with your name on it.

The 1205 motor is smaller and less powerful but it would fit. My favorite daily drivers are my Olympia one and Silverado . I do have a turquoise and bronze model g . The model g motor is the same size as the 1205 motor . Personally I prefer the larger motor it makes vacuuming go faster.
